The Planning Council will strive to ensure delivery of a comprehensive and integrated system of health and social services that guarantees 100% access to services and 0% disparity in health outcomes for all persons living with HIV/AIDS in New Haven and Fairfield Counties and will strive to meet the needs of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
This committee is charged with:
- Developing a strategic plan that includes blueprints for
- council operations
- health care and support services delivery
- Measuring health care and social services needs of people living with HIV/AIDS over the life cycle of the disease and enhance delivery of HIV care services. Measurement will occur according to an ongoing schedule with assessment tools that produce increased participation of target populations and statistically significant results
- Bylaws are updated and reflect the Council’s mission
- Priorities and allocations are set annually in accordance with the Comprehensive Strategic Plan
- Interaction with stakeholders increases
